Most challenging job you have ever done?
Presenting to the main board at 2.30am on the night of deal closure, on the crunch property issues of a housebuilder takeover and then spending the next two hours drafting the indemnities that flowed from the deal that was concluded following my presentation.
What's your top tip for client care?
You can't spend too much time with your clients and when you say you are going to do something, do it!
What is your best example of great client service?
In order to attend a reorganised client strategy meeting that clashed with a family weekend break in Berlin, I delayed flying out, leaving my wife to fly out early with the children. To be fair, my wife thinks this a better example of her demonstrating great client service!
What is your single greatest contribution to Wragge & Co's corporate responsibility?
I manage an under-10s boys' and girls' football team, which plays matches most Saturdays throughout the football season. Our football shirts are sponsored by one of our clients.
