Wragge & Co scores Best Workplaces hat-trick

20.05.10

Wragge & Co has scored a hat-trick in this year's Best Workplaces in the UK results. Ranked 26th, it is the only law firm to appear in the list of the UK's top 50 employers. It scooped the Disability Excellence Award in recognition of its work on disability, diversity and equal opportunities.

The firm is also one of just two organisations to attain 'Master' status, given to organisations appearing in ten consecutive Best Workplaces lists. Wragge & Co has been ranked among the top 50 Best Workplaces in the UK every year since the list began in 2001. The other 'Master' organisation is Admiral Insurance.

Senior partner Quentin Poole said: "Ten years as one of the UK's top 50 employers is a remarkable achievement and something the whole firm is very proud of. Every day I am impressed by the quality of our people and their dedication to providing the very best advice and assistance to clients and each other."

The Best Workplaces list is produced by the Great Place to Work® Institute, a global research and management consultancy. The results are based on anonymous employee surveys which measure levels of trust, pride and camaraderie within an organisation. This year, the UK rankings are published in The Financial Times and The Guardian.

Wragge & Co is a major commercial law firm providing a full range of legal services to UK and international private and public sector organisations. The firm is the number one national firm in Legal Week's 2009 Client Satisfaction Report, scoring 9.4 out of 10 for quality of legal advice and 9 out of 10 for service delivery.

Other awards include Pensions Law Firm of the Year (Pension & Investment Provider Awards), Pensions Lawyers of the Year (UK Pension Awards), European High-Tech Law Firm of the Year (Managing Intellectual Property Awards) and Employment Team of the Year (The Lawyer Awards).
